Spring in Eureka Springs

Spring is upon us and it is a magical time in Eureka Springs. The winding streets will soon be filled with fragrant blooms. I love strolling through this quaint town inhaling deeply to take in all the new spring has to offer. Every day seems to change, more leaves, more blooms and greenery climbing the historic Victorians and walls. Renewal and joy resonates through the ozark hills. I do believe I have found my Perfect Place.

The Historic Perkins Mill

Have you ever fallen in love with a time period? The Victorian period lives on today in the pride and preservation of the small town of Eureka Springs Arkansas. Nestled in the hills of the Ozark Mountains the W.O. Perkins Lumber Mill is one of true landmarks of this period. The special look of Eureka Springs was heavily influenced by the molding and trim work this mill turned out. Original pieces still exist today and are on display in the wonderful Painted Ladies that line the Historic District. The people of this sweet town are lucky indeed!
